2022-11-04[libc++abi] Use std::nullptr_t instead of declaring it manuallyRyan Prichard
Sometimes libc++'s stddef.h wrapper gets included, which defines ::nullptr_t. This test is compiled with -Wshadow -Werror, so shadowing ::nullptr_t with a nullptr_t in main is an error. Include cstddef, which is guaranteed to define std::nullptr_t in C++11 and forward. Reviewed By: ldionne, #libc_abi Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D137127
2021-11-17[runtimes][NFC] Remove filenames at the top of the license noticeLouis Dionne
We've stopped doing it in libc++ for a while now because these names would end up rotting as we move things around and copy/paste stuff. This cleans up all the existing files so as to stop the spreading as people copy-paste headers around.
2020-10-08[runtimes] Use int main(int, char**) consistently in testsLouis Dionne
This is needed when running the tests in Freestanding mode, where main() isn't treated specially. In Freestanding, main() doesn't get mangled as extern "C", so whatever runtime we're using fails to find the entry point. One way to solve this problem is to define a symbol alias from __Z4mainiPPc to _main, however this requires all definitions of main() to have the same mangling. Hence this commit.
2020-06-03[libc++] Remove the c++98 Lit feature from the test suiteLouis Dionne
C++98 and C++03 are effectively aliases as far as Clang is concerned. As such, allowing both std=c++98 and std=c++03 as Lit parameters is just slightly confusing, but provides no value. It's similar to allowing both std=c++17 and std=c++1z, which we don't do. This was discovered because we had an internal bot that ran the test suite under both c++98 AND c++03 -- one of which is redundant. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D80926
2020-04-22[libc++/abi/unwind] Rename Lit features for no exceptions to 'no-exceptions'Louis Dionne
Instead of having different names for the same Lit feature accross code bases, use the same name everywhere. This NFC commit is in preparation for a refactor where all three projects will be using the same Lit feature detection logic, and hence it won't be convenient to use different names for the feature. 2019-01-19Update more file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth
to reflect the new license. These used slightly different spellings that defeated my regular expressions. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351648
2017-01-20Fix catch_reference_nullptr.pass.cpp test for GCC.Eric Fiselier
This test contained an implicit conversion from nullptr to bool. Clang warns about this but the test had supressed that warning. However GCC diagnoses the same code as an error and requires -fpermissive to accept it. This patch fixes both the warning and the error by explicitly converting the pointer to bool. llvm-svn: 292638

2016-07-19[libcxxabi] When catching an exception of type nullptr_t with a handler ofRichard Smith
pointer-to-member type, produce a null value of the right type. This fixes a bug where throwing an exception of type nullptr_t and catching it as a pointer-to-member would not guarantee to produce a null value in the catch handler. The fix is pretty simple: we statically allocate a constant null pointer-to-data-member representation and a constant null pointer-to-member-function representation, and produce the address of the relevant value as the adjusted pointer for the exception. llvm-svn: 276016
