2024-06-10Workaround -Wglobal-constructor warning. (#94699)Eric Schweitz
This line was tripping the -Wglobal-constructor warning which was causing a build failure when -Werror was turned on.
2024-05-04[Support] Use StringRef::operator== instead of StringRef::equals (NFC) (#91042)Kazu Hirata
I'm planning to remove StringRef::equals in favor of StringRef::operator==. - StringRef::operator== outnumbers StringRef::equals by a factor of 25 under llvm/ in terms of their usage. - The elimination of StringRef::equals brings StringRef closer to std::string_view, which has operator== but not equals. - S == "foo" is more readable than S.equals("foo"), especially for !Long.Expression.equals("str") vs Long.Expression != "str".
2023-10-12Use llvm::endianness::{big,little,native} (NFC)Kazu Hirata
Note that llvm::support::endianness has been renamed to llvm::endianness while becoming an enum class as opposed to an enum. This patch replaces support::{big,little,native} with llvm::endianness::{big,little,native}.

2019-08-15[llvm] Migrate llvm::make_unique to std::make_uniqueJonas Devlieghere
Now that we've moved to C++14, we no longer need the llvm::make_unique implementation from STLExtras.h. This patch is a mechanical replacement of (hopefully) all the llvm::make_unique instances across the monorepo. llvm-svn: 369013
2019-08-05Rename F_{None,Text,Append} to OF_{None,Text,Append}. NFCFangrui Song
F_{None,Text,Append} are kept for compatibility since r334221. llvm-svn: 367800
2019-01-19Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth
to reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351636
2018-08-23[Support] Fix some Wundef warningsSven van Haastregt
For the _WIN32 macro, it is the definedness that matters rather than the value. Most uses of the macro already rely on the definedness. This commit fixes the few remaining uses that relied on the value. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D51105 llvm-svn: 340520
2018-04-30IWYU for llvm-config.h in llvm, additions.Nico Weber
See r331124 for how I made a list of files missing the include. I then ran this Python script: for f in open('filelist.txt'): f = f.strip() fl = open(f).readlines() found = False for i in xrange(len(fl)): p = '#include "llvm/' if not fl[i].startswith(p): continue if fl[i][len(p):] > 'Config': fl.insert(i, '#include "llvm/Config/llvm-config.h"\n') found = True break if not found: print 'not found', f else: open(f, 'w').write(''.join(fl)) and then looked through everything with `svn diff | diffstat -l | xargs -n 1000 gvim -p` and tried to fix include ordering and whatnot. No intended behavior change. llvm-svn: 331184
2018-04-29s/LLVM_ON_WIN32/_WIN32/, llvmNico Weber
LLVM_ON_WIN32 is set exactly with MSVC and MinGW (but not Cygwin) in HandleLLVMOptions.cmake, which is where _WIN32 defined too. Just use the default macro instead of a reinvented one. See thread "Replacing LLVM_ON_WIN32 with just _WIN32" on llvm-dev and cfe-dev. No intended behavior change. This moves over all uses of the macro, but doesn't remove the definition of it in (llvm-)config.h yet. llvm-svn: 331127
2018-04-26[GlobalISel] Reporting rules covered as part of the InstructionSelect's ↵Roman Tereshin
debug-only printing The main goal of this change is to make it much easier to track which rules are actually covered by Testgen'erated regression tests. Reviewers: aemerson, dsanders Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D46095 llvm-svn: 330988
2017-11-18Fix use of config.h in public headers.Eric Fiselier
The CodeGenCoverage.h header is installed, but it references the build-only header "llvm/Config/config.h". This breaks use of the CodeGenCoverage.h header once it is installed, because config.h isn't available. This patch fixes the error by moving the config.h include from the CodeGenCoverage.h header (where it's not needed), to the CodeGenCoverage.cpp source file. llvm-svn: 318602
2017-11-17Don't #include MemoryBuffer.h from Host.h.Zachary Turner
It turns out this #include isn't used from Host.h anyway, but by having it it causes circular include dependencies. This issues only surfaced while I was working on a separate patch, so I'm submitting this first so that it's independent of the other, unrelated patch. llvm-svn: 318489
2017-11-16[globalisel][tablegen] Generate rule coverage and use it to identify ↵Daniel Sanders
untested rules Summary: This patch adds a LLVM_ENABLE_GISEL_COV which, like LLVM_ENABLE_DAGISEL_COV, causes TableGen to instrument the generated table to collect rule coverage information. However, LLVM_ENABLE_GISEL_COV goes a bit further than LLVM_ENABLE_DAGISEL_COV. The information is written to files (${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/gisel-coverage-* by default). These files can then be concatenated into ${LLVM_GISEL_COV_PREFIX}-all after which TableGen will read this information and use it to emit warnings about untested rules. This technique could also be used by SelectionDAG and can be further extended to detect hot rules and give them priority over colder rules. Usage: * Enable LLVM_ENABLE_GISEL_COV in CMake * Build the compiler and run some tests * cat gisel-coverage-[0-9]* > gisel-coverage-all * Delete lib/Target/*/*GenGlobalISel.inc* * Build the compiler Known issues: * ${LLVM_GISEL_COV_PREFIX}-all must be generated as a manual step due to a lack of a portable 'cat' command. It should be the concatenation of all ${LLVM_GISEL_COV_PREFIX}-[0-9]* files. * There's no mechanism to discard coverage information when the ruleset changes Depends on D39742 Reviewers: ab, qcolombet, t.p.northover, aditya_nandakumar, rovka Reviewed By: rovka Subscribers: vsk, arsenm, nhaehnle, mgorny, kristof.beyls, javed.absar, igorb, llvm-commits Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D39747 llvm-svn: 318356
